Choudhary Enterprises

Up on the second floor of the Vivekananda Super Market, you'll find us. We are at Plot No D-7. The market is on Hill Cart Road, which is always busy. If you know where the Bank of Baroda is, we are right above them. Choudhary Enterprises has been here for a while. It's a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the light in the stairwell is usually out, so you have to be careful. The office is full of boxes and papers. We try to keep a system, but it's hard when new shipments arrive every week. We deal with a lot of different things, mostly supplying stuff to other businesses. The window looks out over the street, and it’s actually quite nice to watch the rain from up here. We have an old computer that takes forever to start up in the morning. While it's loading, we usually have our first cup of coffee. The walls are covered in old notes and phone numbers scribbled directly on the plaster. It’s not the most professional look, but it works for us. The market can be very noisy with all the porters and shoppers, but once you step inside our door, it's a bit quieter. We have a small staff, just three of us, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering phones to moving heavy crates. It keeps the day moving fast.
