Operating B.M Computer & Electronics is interesting because of where we are. We sit right near the Indo-Bhutan Border at Triveni Toll, on Road No.1. Being in Jaigaon in the Alipurduar District means we see a lot of different people coming and going across the border. We’re right near the gas agency, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. Our shop is a bit of a mix of old and new tech. We’ve got computer parts, some electronics, and a bunch of cables that we’re always trying to keep organized. It’s a busy spot, especially with the trucks and travelers passing through the toll. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic outside, but inside we just focus on fixing laptops or selling a new mouse to someone who needs it. Since we’re so close to the border, we get people from both sides looking for things they can’t find elsewhere. It’s a long way from the big cities, so we have to be resourceful with what we have in stock. If we don’t have a part, it might take a while to get it here, but people understand. We’re just a local shop trying to help people stay connected and keep their gadgets running. It’s a plain, simple life here in Jaigaon and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep the doors open and see who comes by.
