Rajdhani Dianama Battery Works

My shop is out on the Ajeetgarh Devipura Road. Most days start early here because people are already moving by seven or eight. It gets pretty hot during the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done before the sun is right overhead. We deal with all sorts of battery stuff and dynamo issues. It’s dirty work, honestly. My hands are usually covered in grease or some kind of battery acid residue by noon, but that is just how it goes when you are fixing things. The road outside can get quite busy with tractors and trucks going back and forth. Sometimes the dust settles on everything inside the shop, and we have to wipe down the counters just to see what we are doing. I have been at this location for a while now. Neighbors around here are mostly other small shops and some houses further back. If you are coming from Ajeetgarh, you just keep going toward Devipura and you will spot us. It’s not a fancy building or anything. We just have our tools and the parts we need scattered around. Sometimes the power goes out, which is ironic since we work with batteries, but we manage. I usually keep a teapot going in the corner. If someone stops by, we might sit for a minute, but usually, there is a pile of work waiting. It’s a quiet life, mostly just focusing on getting the repairs done right so people can get back on the road.
