Choudhary Trading Company

Our place is right by Kalyan Circle on Station Road, which is one of the busiest parts of town. There is never a moment of silence with all the rickshaws and bikes buzzing around the circle. At Choudhary Trading Company, we deal with a lot of different goods, so the inventory changes quite often. The building is old and has high ceilings, which helps a bit with the heat. We have stacks of crates and boxes piled up almost to the top. It’s a bit of a maze inside if you don't know your way around. We usually have the front doors wide open to catch any breeze, but that also lets in all the street noise. I spend a lot of my time checking invoices and talking to the delivery drivers who struggle to find parking nearby. It’s a tight space for big trucks, so there’s often a lot of shouting and gesturing to get them lined up right. We are a small team and we’ve worked together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get things done. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get through the daily list of chores and make sure the accounts are right. When evening comes and the lights around the circle turn on, we finally start packing up for the day. It’s a busy life here on Station Road.
