Preet Battery

At Preet Battery, we are located right on the main Station Road. It is a prime spot if you like watching the trains go by or seeing the constant flow of people coming from the railway station. Our shop is quite simple, mostly filled with heavy batteries for cars and tractors. Moving them around is a real workout, so we don't really need to go to a gym. We have a couple of old wooden chairs for customers to sit on while they wait for us to test their old battery. Usually, the floor is a bit stained from the acid and water, but we try to keep it as clean as we can. It’s a noisy environment with the trains and the traffic, but you stop noticing it after a while. We aren't big on talk; we just prefer to get under the hood of a car and see what is wrong. If a battery can be saved, we tell the customer, and if it is dead, we show them why. We have been on this road for a long time and have seen many shops come and go, but we are still here doing the same thing. There is something nice about a simple business where you can see the results of your work immediately. We just stay open until the last train of the evening usually and head home.
