Centillion Infotech is based out of Abhay Kunj in the Dhalli area of Shimla. It is a pretty quiet spot, tucked away from the main rush and noise of the city center. D P Sharma’s place is where we set up our office, and it works out just fine for the kind of work we do. Working in Himachal means dealing with steep hills and winding roads every day, but we are all used to that by now. We do a lot of info tech work, which mostly involves sitting at computers for long hours and checking data. The office is not anything special to look at, just a normal room with some sturdy desks and chairs. We started this because we wanted to work locally instead of moving away to some big city like Delhi or Chandigarh. It is nice being in Dhalli because it is a bit more relaxed. We do not have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy things for us. We just handle the technical stuff as it comes in. Sometimes the internet acts up when the weather gets bad, but that is just how life goes in the mountains. We try to keep things simple and honest here. If you come by, you will probably just see a few of us typing away. We are not trying to change the world, just trying to provide for ourselves and do a decent job with the software tasks.
