Vipul Aggarwal

I’m Vipul Aggarwal, and I operate my business right here in Shimla. My office is in the 171001 zip code area, which is right where most of the action is in this mountain town. I’ve been doing this for a while now, focusing on accounting and helping people with their tax returns. It’s a lot of sitting and looking at spreadsheets, which might sound boring to some, but I find it satisfying to get the numbers to match up. The office is small and usually smells like coffee or tea. I don’t have a big team or a fancy receptionist. If you come by, you’re usually talking directly to me. Shimla winters can be tough, so sometimes I work from home, but I’m mostly at the office. The street outside can get busy with people walking to the Mall Road, but inside it’s usually pretty quiet. I keep things simple and don’t use big words or complicated explanations. If someone has a problem with their GST or income tax, we just sit down and figure it out together. It’s not about being the best or the fastest, it’s just about getting the work done right. Most of my clients are friends or neighbors, and that’s how I like to run things. I try to stay updated with all the new rules, but it’s a constant job. When the day is over, I just lock up and head home like everyone else.
