Dayawati Public School

If you head down Heendgarhi Pukhta Road toward Jasana Urf Mastgarh, you will find our school. We are tucked away in this part of Shamli, near Muzaffarnagar. It is a very local setup here. The school building is surrounded by fields and open space, which is nice because it stays a bit quieter than the main town. We started this place because there was a need for a school right in this area so kids wouldn't have to travel so far. The rooms are plain and we use every bit of space we have. Our desks and chairs have been around for a bit, but they work just fine for the students. During the monsoon, the road outside can get a bit muddy, but everyone still makes it in. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It is just us, the teachers, and the staff trying to keep things tidy and making sure the children are actually reading their books. We have a lot of paperwork to keep track of, and the office usually has stacks of notebooks waiting to be checked. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We know most of the parents by name because they live just down the road or in the next village over. We try to keep a steady schedule and make sure the kids are safe while they are with us. It’s just a regular school doing regular things every single day.
