Prasanth Exports

Our place, Prasanth Exports, is situated on the Main Road in Jaora, Ratlam. A big part of our day is dictated by the Bimakhedi Railway Crossing because when the gates go down, everything stops for a bit. It’s just part of life here. We handle a variety of items for export, so there is always a lot of packing and labeling going on. The office is small and usually has boxes piled up in the corners. We spend a lot of time on the computer and the phone, talking to people in different places to coordinate where things need to go. Ratlam can get quite hot, so we try to get the heavy loading done early in the morning. Being near the railway crossing means we see a lot of people passing through Jaora. Sometimes we stand outside for a break and watch the trains go by. It’s a busy environment, and there’s always a bit of a rush to get the shipments ready before the transport arrives. We’ve got a small team here, and we all know each other well. It’s not a corporate setup, just a group of us working out of a shop on the main road. We don’t have much time for fancy stuff, we just focus on the orders and making sure the crates are packed tight so nothing breaks during the journey. It's just a regular business keeping us occupied from morning until late evening.
