Varna Dhatri Creations

Our place is right on Street No.01 in Vani Nagar. If you know Malkajgiri, you know how these streets can be a bit of a maze sometimes. We’ve been at this location for a bit, and it’s basically just a small workshop where we put things together. Varna Dhatri Creations isn't some big brand you'd see in a mall. It’s just a room with some tables and a lot of thread. My cousin helps out sometimes when things get busy. The light in the morning is pretty good for seeing the colors properly, which helps since we don't have those bright studio lights. Secunderabad can get quite hot in the summer, and the fan in here just pushes the warm air around, but we get used to it. We spend a lot of time just looking at different patterns and trying to see what works. Sometimes a project doesn't turn out right and we have to start over, which is frustrating, but that’s just how it goes. We don't really have a front desk or a receptionist. If the door is open, someone is usually in the back working. It’s a bit messy with scraps on the floor and tea cups sitting around. We like being in Vani Nagar because it feels like a real neighborhood. You see the same people walking by every day. It’s a humble kind of business, really. We just take things one day at a time here.
