Sunshine Candles

You can find Sunshine Candles over in Sikh Village at house number 2-6-170/172. It is not a big factory or anything like that. It is just a workshop where we make candles by hand. We have been at this address for quite a few years now. The smell of melting wax is always in the air here. We use big pots to melt the wax and then we pour it into different molds. It takes a lot of time for the candles to set properly, especially when it is humid outside. Sometimes the colors don't come out exactly how we planned, so we have to try again. It is a bit of a messy job with wax drippings on the tables and floors. We are just a small team of people who enjoy working with our hands. Sikh Village is a quiet area and we like being part of the community here. We do not have a fancy store front. People usually just stop by the workshop if they need something. We spend a lot of time trimming wicks and packing the finished candles into boxes. It is simple work but it keeps us busy throughout the year. During festival seasons, we are usually working late into the night to keep up. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep making our candles and staying in business at our local spot.
