Sanctuary Hotels

Our place is at Hno: B3/21 in Huda Colony. It is out in the Chanda Nagar area of Hyderabad. It’s more of a quiet neighborhood compared to the middle of the city. We have this house converted into what we need for the hotel business. It’s got a bit of a yard and the street is usually lined with trees. People who stay with us are often looking for something that doesn't feel like a big cold building. We spend a lot of time on maintenance because an older house always needs something fixed. Whether it is a leaky tap or a light bulb that quit, there is always a list of chores. The staff is mostly local people from Andhra Pradesh. We aren't trying to be the most expensive place in town. We just want to provide a decent room. The colony is nice for a walk in the evening. You can see the kids playing and people heading home. We have been in Chanda Nagar for some time and we like the vibe here. It is a bit of a trek from the airport but once you are here, it is peaceful. We don't have a big corporate office. It is just the house and the rooms we look after. We keep the keys at the front and wait for the guests to arrive. It is a low-key way to run a hotel but it works for us and the guests.
