Our office is at Flat No 12 in Lotus Park, which is on Road No 3 in West Marredpally. It’s a quiet residential sort of area, so it’s not like a big industrial warehouse. We deal with stone exports, mostly. We spend a lot of our day dealing with paperwork and talking to people on the phone about shipping schedules and the stones we've got. We don’t keep the actual stones here in the flat, obviously. We coordinate everything from this desk. It’s a small team of us. We’ve been in West Marredpally for a while and like the neighborhood. It’s got a lot of trees and it’s usually peaceful. Sometimes we have to go out to the sites to check on the stone before it gets sent out, so the office might be empty for a few hours. We don’t have any fancy brochures or anything. People who need stone for export usually find us through their own connections. We just make sure the stone gets from the quarry to wherever it needs to go across the water. It’s a lot of checking and double-checking details. We keep a few small samples on the shelf just to show the colors, but that’s about it. It is just regular work, trying to make sure everything moves on time without too many problems.
