We are tucked away in the S.V. Sumitra Apartments in Kukatpally. Specifically, you will find us in unit 302 on the third floor. Sumitra Nagar is a pretty familiar spot for anyone who has lived around this part of Hyderabad for a while. Working out of an apartment building gives the place a different feel than a big glass office tower. It is a bit more personal, in a way. We have been running Amylodex from this location for some time now. Most days it is just the sound of keyboards and someone making a fresh pot of tea in the small kitchen corner. The traffic in Kukatpally can be a real nightmare during the rush hour, so most of us try to get in early to avoid the worst of it. We deal with various business matters throughout the day. There is not much to say about the decor; it is just desks, some metal filing cabinets, and the usual office supplies scattered around. We know the neighbors in the building, and they know us. It is a practical setup that works for what we do. Sometimes people get lost looking for the right entrance to the apartments, but once they find the third floor, it is easy. The lift is small and sometimes smells like cleaning supplies, but it gets you there eventually. We have a few plants on the windowsill that are struggling a bit, but they add some color.
