The Vascon Engineers Ltd, Pune office is based out in Rethare Harnax, which is in the Walwa taluka of Sangli. It’s a rural setting, quite far from the noise of the bigger cities. We’ve been operating from this location for quite a while now. The building isn’t anything special to look at, just a sturdy place where we can keep our files and meet up before heading out to work sites. Being in the Sangli district means we do a lot of work related to the local infrastructure and engineering needs. It’s mostly agriculture around here, so we see a lot of green fields when we look out the window. Inside, it’s a typical workspace with a few computers, a big table for laying out blueprints, and a corner for making tea. We don’t really do "corporate" here. We talk to each other plainly and get the job done. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to wait a bit to send out emails, but we make it work. Most of us have lived in Walwa all our lives, so we know the land and the people quite well. It helps when you're trying to figure out the logistics for a new project. We are just a group of engineers and workers who know the area and know how to build things. We don't need a fancy office in a skyscraper to do our jobs properly. This spot in Rethare Harnax is perfect for what we do. It suits our way of working.
