I'm based over at 13, Kranti Housing Society, right by Gendamal Naka in Satara. It's a 415002 zip code if you're looking for it. As a Junior Engineer, I spend most of my time dealing with local projects in and around Maharashtra. My office is just a small room in the society where I keep my plans and books. It's not a corporate building with glass walls or anything like that. Just a regular place where a regular person works. I've been in Satara for a good while, so I know the shortcuts and the local suppliers pretty well. The work usually involves a lot of site visits, checking on measurements, and making sure the workers are following the drawings. Gendamal Naka is a busy spot, so there's always something going on nearby. I don't use any marketing tricks to get work; usually, someone just mentions my name when an engineer is needed. I like to keep things straightforward. If something is broken, we fix it. If something is being built, we make sure it stays up. Engineering can be complicated, but I try to explain it to people in a way that makes sense without using too many big words. It's a lot of responsibility, but I take it one day at a time. I’m just a local guy doing technical work for the community here, and I hope it helps things run better.
