Senior College

Senior College is situated in Mangalwar Peth, right here in Kolhapur. We are a regular place where local young people come to study. The building has been around for some time and shows its age in a few spots, but it’s sturdy. We have several classrooms spread across the floors. Students come from all over the city and even some nearby villages to attend their lectures. The atmosphere is usually a bit more serious than a primary school since everyone is older. We have a small administrative section where we handle all the forms and fees. It can get pretty busy during admission season with people lining up. The local shops nearby are where most students hang out during their breaks to grab a snack or tea. We don't have a massive campus with lots of grass, just the essential rooms and some common areas. The staff here are mostly local people who have lived in Maharashtra their whole lives. We follow the university guidelines and try to keep things running smoothly. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just carry on as best as we can. It’s a very practical environment. We don't put on a lot of shows or big festivals, we just focus on the daily schedule. It’s just a regular college where people come to get their degrees and then move on with their lives. It's a simple, functional place for the community.
