Green Valley School

Living and working in Panchgani means dealing with a lot of mist and rain depending on the time of year. Our place is on Dunhill Hotel Road, right in Shahu Nagar. It is a decent location, away from the heaviest tourist traffic but still close enough to everything. The school building is old-fashioned in some ways, which fits the vibe of this town. We start our days early here because the mountain air is fresh, though it can be hard to get out of bed when it is cold. Most of our time is spent just managing the daily needs of the students and keeping the facility in good shape. The road outside gets a bit busy during the holiday seasons when people visit Panchgani, but otherwise, it is a calm area. We have some trees around the perimeter that need trimming every now and then. Inside, the halls are usually filled with the sound of teachers talking and chairs scraping on the floor. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a local school trying to help the neighborhood kids learn something useful. Sometimes the internet acts up because of the hills, and we just have to wait it out. That is just life up here. We keep a pot of tea going in the staff room and try to stay on top of the paperwork that never seems to end.
