Ajeenkya D Y Patil International School

Ajeenkya D Y Patil International School is located near Shahupuri at Molacha Odha in Satara. It is a bit on the outskirts of the main town, so it is relatively quiet compared to the center of Satara. The school is surrounded by a bit of greenery and some open land. You have to drive down a slightly narrow road to get to the main gate. Once you are inside, it is a pretty standard campus with several buildings and a playground. We spend a lot of time managing the daily schedule and making sure the buses arrive on time. The weather here is usually okay, but it can get quite rainy during the monsoon season. Then the ground near Molacha Odha gets a bit muddy and we have to keep the kids inside. Our classrooms are simple with plain desks and chairs. The teachers here come from various parts of Satara and they bring their own lunches to eat in the common room. We do not have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just some charts and student work. It is a place where we focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the children understand their lessons. Sometimes we have small events in the assembly hall, but mostly it is just quiet study time. We are just a local school doing our job every day for the community.
