Lokmanya Vidya Mandir

We are located on Degav Road, right in the MIDC area of Satara. Being near the industrial zone means our school is surrounded by a lot of factories and small businesses. Lokmanya Vidya Mandir is a place where local kids come to get their education. The surroundings are quite plain, but we have a good view of the hills that sit on the edge of the city. Our building is a simple structure that has been standing for many years. It has a very solid and practical feel to it. The rooms are large enough for the students, and we have the usual blackboards and wooden furniture. We don't have a huge budget for decorations or fancy equipment, so we make do with what we have. Most of our teachers live in Satara and take the bus or ride their bikes out here to the MIDC area every morning. The wind can get quite strong around here, especially in the rainy season. We have a small open area where the students gather for their morning prayers and physical education. It’s a very honest kind of place. We focus on the basic subjects and making sure the kids stay on track with their studies. The parents work hard in the nearby industries, and they want a reliable place for their children to learn. That’s exactly what we provide here without any extra fuss or unnecessary polish. We just do our work and look after the children who come to learn.
