Hotel Mehandra Executive Llp sits at 290 Golewadi, right in the Koregaon area of Satara. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. If you’re familiar with the roads around Koregaon, you know it’s a mix of old houses and some newer buildings popping up. Our place is part of that mix. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk or big advertisements. Most of the work involves making sure the rooms are ready and the guests are looked after properly. The staff here are mostly local people from the nearby villages who know the area well. We spend a lot of time just chatting with people who stop by. The mornings are usually the busiest time when everyone is checking out and we have to get the cleaning done before the next lot arrives. It’s a lot of laundry and sweeping, to be honest. We’ve had this place for some time, and it feels more like a second home than a business office. There’s always a kettle on somewhere, and someone is usually fixing a leaky tap or painting a wall. We don’t have any grand plans for a big chain. We just like running our own show here in Satara. It gets quiet in the evenings, which is nice. You can hear the sounds from the road, but it’s mostly peaceful. We just try to keep things running smooth every day. We hope people feel okay when they stay.
