Designer

I am a designer based in a small place called Ghot. If you are not familiar with the area, it is in the Patan Taluka within the Satara district. My address is simply At Post: Ghot, Tal: Patan, Dist: Satara, Pin: 415014. It is a bit different from working in a big city like Mumbai or Pune. Things move a lot slower here, and I like that. I do my work from my home office mostly. Being a designer in a place like Satara means I work with what is available locally. I don't have a big team or a fancy studio. It is just me and my ideas. People in the village know me, and they know where to find me if they need help with a project. The commute is non-existent because I am right here in Ghot. Most of my day is spent looking at the hills and trying to come up with something that looks good. It is honest work. I have been here for years and I don't see myself moving to a big city anytime soon. The peace and quiet of Patan helps me focus better than any office building could. Sometimes I have to travel a bit further into the district for materials or to see a client, but I always come back to Ghot. It is a simple life, and I just focus on my designs one at a time without any rush or pressure from the outside world.
