Yashraj Enterprises

Yashraj Enterprises is located at Shop No.1 right near Vande Mataram Chowk. It is in the Joshi Galli area of Tasgaon, which is part of Sangli. Being near the HDFC Bank helps people find us quite easily because that is a major landmark in this part of town. The shop is tucked into a corner where there is always some activity. We started this place because we wanted to have something of our own in the local market. The walls are painted a plain color and we have shelves that are usually a bit cluttered with various items we stock. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. Tasgaon is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we spend a lot of time just talking to neighbors who stop by. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things get done. Some days the heat in Sangli gets to be a lot, so we keep the fan running at full speed. We've seen the shops around us change owners over the years, but we’ve stayed right here in Joshi Galli. It is a practical business without any of that modern corporate talk. We just open the shutters, do the work, and close up when the sun goes down. It's a decent way to make a living and we appreciate the people who come to see us. There is always a stray dog or two sleeping near the entrance in the shade.
