Bharati Traders is located out in Kokale village, near the sugar factory. If you’re driving down Miraj Road toward Kavathe Mahankal, you’ll find us easily enough. Being near the sugar factory means there are always big trucks and tractors passing by, especially during the harvest season. It gets very dusty and loud, but that’s just life in a rural area. Our office is right by the post office, which is convenient for us. We handle a lot of trading for the local people and farmers in the Taluka. It isn’t a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out back checking the stock. The building is simple, just bricks and a tin roof, but it keeps us dry. We’ve been here for years, and we know most of the families around Kokale. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here a long time and people know where to find us. Sometimes the power goes out in the village and we have to finish our work by candlelight or just wait until the next day. It’s not a fast-paced life, but it’s a steady one. We just try to show up and do what we said we would do. That is basically how we operate every single day. We don't need any big plans or fancy slogans to keep things going.
