Mahalaxmi Steel Industries

Down here at J-16 in the Midc area of Kupwad, things move pretty fast. Mahalaxmi Steel Industries has been operating out of this spot for a good bit of time. It's a typical industrial area, so it's noisy and there is always a truck idling somewhere nearby. We spend our mornings checking the machines and making sure the steel is being handled right. It’s hard work, and the sun gets pretty hot inside the shed during the summer months. We don't have any air conditioning in the main work area, just some old fans that move the air around. Most of the guys here live close by in the district. We know each other well and that helps when things get busy. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to stay steady and keep the orders moving. Sometimes the supply chain gets messy and we have to tell people to wait a few extra days, which isn't great, but we try to be honest about it. We focus on the actual work rather than looking professional. Our office is small and usually filled with stacks of bills and ledger books. If you are looking for us, look for the big gate near the corner. We’re usually around from early morning until late afternoon. It’s just how we run things around here without any fuss or complicated systems.
