Choudhary Bricks

If you go down the Link Road in Bamra, near the bus stand, you’ll see Choudhary Bricks. Being so close to the bus stand means there is always something happening. There is a lot of noise from the buses and people shouting, but we just get on with our work. Our post office is right here in Bamra too, so we are easy to find if you're looking for us. We make bricks the old-fashioned way. It involves a lot of mud, water, and fire. My father used to say that bricks are the bones of a house, and we try to remember that every time we mold one. We don't use any fancy advertising or marketing. Word of mouth usually brings people to our gate. The yard is always a bit chaotic with piles of raw materials and finished stacks mixed together.
