Our place is at No. 129/2 along the Yercaud Adivaram Road in Kondappanayakanpatty. It’s a nice area because you’re right on the way up to the hills. We started Zar Foods And Beverages Private Limited because we saw a lot of people passing by and thought we could offer something good. The building is just a standard brick structure, nothing you’d notice if you were driving fast. Inside, it’s mostly just storage and a small area where we handle the packing. We don’t have a big staff, so we all take turns doing the heavy lifting and the cleaning. The road outside is always busy with tourists and local buses, which keeps things interesting. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most of our business comes from people who live nearby or those who stop while traveling to Yercaud. It’s a simple life, really. We wake up early to get the stock ready and usually stay late to finish the cleaning. We’ve had some mishaps with the plumbing and the electricity over the years, but we’ve learned to fix most of it ourselves. It’s a practical way to live. We aren't looking to change the world, we just want to run a steady business and be part of the community here in Kondappanayakanpatty. It is hard work, but we are used to it.
