A N S Coffee Bar

If you’re walking down K4 Narayana Sami Street in South Udayar, Palayam, you’ll find us at 47/9. A N S Coffee Bar is a small spot in Attur where we serve coffee and a few other things to anyone who stops by. It’s not a fancy cafe with soft sofas or anything like that. We have some basic benches and a counter where we make the drinks. The coffee machine is usually humming all day, and there’s always a bit of steam in the air. We start early because the workers in the area like to get their first cup before they head off to their jobs for the day. It’s a simple routine that we’ve followed for years. We roast some of the beans ourselves in the back, which makes the whole street smell good for a few hours in the afternoon. We don’t have a big menu, just the things we know how to make well without any fuss. People come here to chat for a few minutes or just to stand by the door and watch the traffic go by on the main road. It can get pretty crowded during the lunch break, and we have to move fast to keep everyone happy and served. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven’t found the time to do it yet. It’s just a local place run by people who live right here in the neighborhood. We know most of our regulars and how they like their sugar.
