Tanmac Cement

Our business, Tanmac Cement, is situated on Bhavani Main Road in the Madayankuttai area. We are over by Mettur Dam, which is a well-known landmark in this part of Salem. We deal with cement and related supplies for people building houses or doing construction around here. The yard is usually full of bags and trucks coming and going. It’s a dusty job, but someone has to do it. We’ve been at this 10/77Sa address for a long time. The road out front is quite busy with heavy vehicles moving towards the dam. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just an office and a big storage space for the stock. People come to us because they know we have what they need for their projects. We talk to contractors, masons, and homeowners every day. It’s straightforward work. We load the bags, handle the paperwork, and get things moving. Sometimes we run low on certain types of cement if there’s a delay from the factory, but we usually figure it out. Our staff knows how to handle the heavy lifting. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find air conditioning in the lobby. It’s a working warehouse and office. We’ve been part of the Mettur landscape for years. We just keep supplying the materials that help build the local neighborhood. It is hard work, but we are used to it by now.
