Tamil Digital

Tamil Digital is located at 72/4 on Suramangalam Main Road, over in Subramania Nagar. It’s a decent-sized place, mostly filled with computers and printing machines that take up most of the room. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and making sure the colors look right on paper. The street outside is always humming with people going to work or heading home. I usually open the shop early to get a head start on the printing jobs from the night before. Sometimes the machines act up, and we have to spend an hour or two fixing a paper jam or changing the ink. It isn't glamorous work, but it keeps us on our toes. People from the neighborhood come in for all sorts of small jobs, like copies or basic designs. We have a few plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait, but it’s not exactly a lounge. The air smells like ink and warm electronics most of the day. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule; we just stay until the work is finished. My nephew usually helps me out in the afternoons after his classes. We’ve been in this part of Subramania Nagar for a while, and we know most of the shopkeepers on this block. It’s just a regular local business trying to do things the right way. We try to keep the prices fair and the machines running as smooth as possible.
