Royal Neon Signs

You can find Royal Neon Signs at 21V in the Municipal Building upstairs. We are right there in Agraharam, very close to the SCB Bank and the old bus stand. Being upstairs means we have to carry everything up the steps, which can be a bit of a workout sometimes. The shop has a good view of the street, so we can see the buses coming and going all day long. We do a lot of neon work, so there are always glass tubes and gas tanks around the workbenches. It is a specialized kind of craft, and we’ve been doing it in this same spot for a long time. The space is a little cramped with all the templates and old sign parts we’ve collected over the years. I usually spend my time sketching out designs on the table before we start the actual bending. It’s a quiet place compared to the noise from the bus stand downstairs. We don't have a big marketing department or any of that. People just know where we are because we’ve been here so long. Sometimes we take on repairs for signs that were made decades ago. It’s interesting to see how things used to be built. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready for the local shops. It’s a practical business, and we take it one sign at a time. The heat from the burners is tough in the summer, but we manage to stay cool enough.
