You can find us at 244/56, Vallal Street, which is directly opposite Sona College. Because of where we are, we see a lot of students all day long. They come over when they have a break between their classes to get something cold. Sairam Cool Drink Supplier & Co. is a name we’ve had for a while now. It’s not a very big shop, but we manage to fit a lot of stock inside. We have to keep things moving because the college crowd is always in a hurry. Most of our work involves unloading the delivery trucks and then stocking the coolers as fast as we can. Vallal Street is usually crowded with scooters and students walking around. We don't have any fancy mission or anything like that. We just sell drinks. Sometimes we have to tell the kids to move their bikes so the trucks can get in, but mostly they are a good bunch. We have a few chairs out front, but they are usually taken by the time the afternoon classes end. The shop is pretty basic, just some shelves and a counter and a lot of cooling equipment. It gets loud when the college bell rings, but that is just part of being in this location. We just keep our heads down and keep the bottles moving for whoever needs them.
