Ravichandran Traders

Ravichandran Traders is located right in the Bus Stand Building at Mettur Dam. Being at No. 40 means we see a lot of people coming and going from the buses all day long. It’s a noisy and dusty place, but it’s where the business happens. We handle a lot of different goods, and our days are mostly spent loading and unloading stuff or talking to suppliers on the phone. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a functional space with boxes and ledgers piled up. We’ve been in Salem District for a while now, and we know how things work around here. It’s not always easy, especially when deliveries are late or the weather is bad. We don't use any polished sales pitches. We just tell people what we have and what the price is. The staff here is just a few local guys who know the trade. We spend our time checking inventory and making sure the accounts are mostly right. It’s a simple way to make a living. The bus stand is always full of life, and we are right in the thick of it. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just show up every morning, open the shop, and get to work. It’s practical and it’s how we’ve always done things here in Mettur Dam. We just keep track of the boxes and move on to the next task.
