Palaniyamma Export

Down in Naduvallur Post, near Ganagavalli, you’ll find our little export setup. We’ve been handling goods from this corner of the world for a while. It’s mostly about packing things up and making sure they get to where they’re going. The shed gets pretty dusty, especially when we’re moving a lot of stock. We don’t have a big marketing team or a fancy website. We just have a phone and a lot of crates. Most of the guys here live nearby, so we all know each other. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but this is where the products are. We spend our mornings checking the quality of what comes in from the local growers. If it’s not right, we don’t send it out. Simple as that. The paperwork can be a headache sometimes, but we manage. We aren’t a massive company with hundreds of trucks. We just have our small fleet and a few reliable drivers. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by torchlight. You get used to it. The goal is just to keep the flow of goods moving steady. We don’t make big promises, we just do the packing and the loading. It’s honest work, even if it’s tiring. If you see a lot of activity near the post office, that’s probably us. The local tea seller usually brings us a round of drinks in the afternoon to keep us going.
