Malka Chemicals

Malka Chemicals is over at 45/14, Syed Jalal Khan Street. We are located near the Manan Beedi Factory in the Fort area. It’s a very old and historic part of the city. The streets around here are very narrow and they wind around. You have to be very careful driving a delivery van through here or you’ll get stuck. Our shop is old and has high ceilings with some peeling paint. We keep a lot of stock piled up in the back rooms. It smells a bit like chemicals and industrial soap sometimes. That’s just the nature of what we do. The neighbors are mostly other small trades and shops. We’ve known the family at the beedi factory for many years. Life moves at a certain pace in this neighborhood. We open early in the morning and close when the sun goes down. There’s no company website or anything modern like that. We just use a paper logbook for most of our things. It’s simpler for us to manage. We get a lot of regular customers who have been buying from us for decades. They know our names and we know theirs too. Sometimes we sit out front on wooden stools when it’s a quiet afternoon. The Fort area is always full of noise and people moving about. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. But we like the energy. We are just a small chemical supply place doing what we’ve always done. No big secrets or fancy goals.
