Iits Computer Education

We are tucked inside the Lakshmi Saraswathi Complex over in Jalakantapuram. Salem is a big place, but this little corner is where we spend all our time. The complex is usually busy with people going to different shops, but our rooms are a bit quieter once you step inside. We have rows of computers set up for whoever wants to come in and learn. Some of the machines are newer than others, but they all work fine for what we need to do. People come here to figure out how to use software or just to get some practice on the keyboard. The lighting is that typical bright office light, and there is always the sound of clicking keys and the hum of the cooling fans. We don't have a big reception area or anything fancy like that. Just a desk at the front and then the lab area. It can get a bit cramped when a full class is in, but everyone manages to find a seat. We stay open late into the evening because a lot of people come after their regular jobs or school finishes. Being in Salem - 636501, we get folks from all over the nearby streets. It’s a practical setup. We just show people how the programs work and let them get their practice in. The walls have a few posters about different courses, and there is always a stack of papers near the printer that needs sorting out every day before we close up.
