Hitech Components

Hitech Components is based at No : 126,-1, 3 Rd Cross, Kennady Nagar in Suramangalam. Don't let the name "Hitech" fool you into thinking we have a glass building and robots. We are a small operation tucked away in a residential-commercial mix area. Our shop is on the 3rd Cross, and it's a bit of a tight squeeze for larger vehicles to turn around. We deal with components, so there are thousands of small parts in little bins all over the walls. It takes a while for a new person to learn where everything is. We spend a lot of our time counting items and checking serial numbers. It’s a bit tedious, but it has to be done right. Suramangalam is our home, and we know the rhythms of the street. We don't have a corporate culture or "employee of the month" plaques. We just have a small team that knows their stuff. If we don't have a part, we try to find out who does. We don't spend much on advertising at all. Most of our business comes from the workshops nearby who need something fixed quickly. The office chair squeaks and the computer is a bit old, but they both work well enough. We just show up, do the inventory, help the customers, and close up at six every evening. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping things moving.
