Abirami Coffee Bar

Abirami Coffee Bar is located at 47, Yercaud Main Road in the Periyakollappatty area. We are easy to find because we are near Kamala Stores, which everyone around here knows. Being on Yercaud Main Road means we see a lot of people passing through, especially those heading up toward the hills or coming back down. The shop at number 47 is a straightforward place. We call it Abirami Coffee Bar because that’s what it is—a place to get coffee. We don’t have a big menu with words nobody can pronounce. It’s just a counter, some stools, and the equipment we use every day. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor has some scuffs from all the boots and shoes, but it feels like home to us. We get started early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. Periyakollappatty is a nice community, and we’ve gotten to know many of the regulars who stop by on their way to work. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in town. We just want to be the place at 47 Yercaud Main Road where you can get a cup without any fuss. It’s just us, the coffee, and the road outside. We close the shutters when the street lights come on and head home. That’s about all there is to say about our little spot here.
