We are located in a part of Saharanpur that feels a bit more open than the crowded city center. The building we are in is quite plain, but it serves its purpose for what we do. We focus entirely on mathematics here, so the rooms are full of chalkboards and notebooks filled with equations. It’s the kind of place where you’ll always find someone scratching their head over a difficult problem. The floor is made of simple cement, and the furniture is mostly old wooden desks that have been around for years. We have a lot of students who come from the surrounding villages along Gangoh Road because it’s a convenient stop for them. The Airtel Tower nearby sometimes makes it hard to find a good spot to park a car, but there is plenty of room for motorcycles and cycles. During the rainy season, the road outside gets a bit muddy, so we spend a lot of time mopping the floors to keep the place tidy. It’s a very basic setup without any of the fancy bells and whistles you might find in a big city institute. We focus on the numbers and the formulas, and that’s about it. There’s a small tea stall across the road where we usually go when we need a break.
