Amit Arora Commerce Institute

We are located at 341-Awas Vikas, which is part of the Awas Vikas Colony in Roorkee. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays a bit quieter than the main market areas, which is nice for when students are trying to focus. We are quite near Dr. N D Arora’s place, and most people just use that as a landmark when they are trying to find the right house number. The institute is basically run out of this space, and it has a very home-like feel to it that you don't get in big offices. There are stacks of accountancy books and tax guides piled up on the desks, and we have a few rows of chairs for the students to sit in. It’s not a corporate office with a fancy receptionist; usually, you’ll just find me or one of the staff members sitting at the main table near the door. Roorkee has its own slow pace, and being in the colony means we see the same friendly faces every single day. We’ve kept the setup very simple because we don't see the need for anything flashy or expensive. The walls have some old charts on them, and the lighting is just regular tube lights that flicker sometimes. Students usually park their cycles out front along the wall of the house. It’s just a practical place for learning about business and numbers without any of the extra fluff.
