Chaman Crafts

We are located over on Bajdaran Street. Most of our days start pretty early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool before the sun really gets going. Chaman Crafts is basically just a small group of us doing what we have always done. The street itself gets quite busy as the day goes on with people walking past and the occasional bike or rickshaw rattling over the pavement. We usually keep the front doors wide open to let some of the breeze in while we work at our tables. It can get a bit dusty with all the activity outside, but that is just part of being in this neighborhood. You can hear the neighbors chatting and the general noise of the city while we focus on our tasks. We have been at this same spot for a good while now. It is definitely not a fancy office or a polished showroom. It’s just an honest workshop where things get made day by day. Sometimes we get through a massive amount of work and other times the afternoon tea breaks seem to last a bit longer than we planned. People around here know us by name mostly. We don’t really go in for much of that marketing talk or anything promotional. If you are walking down Bajdaran Street you will see our sign hanging out front. It has faded a bit from the sun over the years but it is still there. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a simple life.
