Centenarian Art & Crafts

We spend most of our time here at the shop near Markaz Pul Banjaran. It’s a busy spot and we have been at this for a while now. Centenarian Art & Crafts isn't anything fancy, just a place where we put things together. Some days it is quiet and we just sit and work on small pieces, and other days people are coming in and out asking for this or that. We mostly deal with local materials. If you walk down the road near the bridge, you'll see us there. The sun hits the front window in the afternoon and makes it pretty warm inside. We have shelves filled with stuff we've made over the months. Sometimes we get projects that take a long time to finish. It’s just how it goes. My brother helps out with the heavier work when he isn't busy. We don't really have a big staff or anything. It is mostly just a few of us making sure the work gets done. People usually find us by word of mouth or if they are just passing by the Pul Banjaran area. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the workshop gets a bit messy with scraps and tools lying around. That’s just part of the job when you’re actually making things by hand. We like the neighborhood. It’s got a lot of life and there's always something happening outside the door. We'll be here tomorrow too, probably doing the same thing.
