Out here in Bayad, Sabarkantha, things move at their own pace. Shri T. S. Patel College Of Mba has been sitting here for a while now, right in the middle of everything. Being an MBA college, you might think it’s all suits and ties, but it’s actually pretty relaxed. We get a lot of local students who want to stay close to home while they figure out how to run a business or manage a team. The building itself is straightforward and doesn’t have many frills. We have our classrooms and a place to sit and talk, and that’s about it. Most days you’ll find us sitting around discussing assignments or trying to make sense of the latest news. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon when we talk to each other. It’s just about learning the ropes and getting a degree that means something in the real world. The weather gets dusty sometimes, and the fans in the classrooms hum all day long. We know most of the families around here, so it feels more like a community than a cold institution. It isn't always perfect, and sometimes the internet acts up or the power cuts out for a bit, but we make it work. We are just a group of people in a small town trying to get ahead and learn a thing or two about the way the world works. It’s simple, honest work and we are glad to be doing it right here in our own neighborhood.
