M Ed College

M Ed College is sitting right on Station Road in Daramali, which is part of the Sabarkantha district. It’s a convenient spot because the train station is so close, so you can hear the whistles and the rumbling of the tracks throughout the day. This place is specifically for people looking to get their Master of Education degree. Most of our students are already teachers who want to move up or learn more about the theory side of things. The building is a basic two-story setup. We have a small yard in the front where a couple of trees provide some shade during the lunch hour. Sabarkantha gets quite hot, so those trees are important to us. Inside, the rooms are filled with desks and old metal cabinets full of old thesis papers and records. It’s not a very loud place because the groups are usually smaller and more serious about their work. We don't have a big cafeteria or anything, just a small corner where we keep a kettle for making tea and coffee. The local market is just a short walk away if anyone needs a proper meal. Most of us have worked here for years and we know the rhythms of the town pretty well. It’s a steady, quiet environment for studying and we don’t really try to make it seem like more than it is. It’s just a college on Station Road where people come to study.
