Guru Kirpa Metal

Over at Guru Kirpa Metal, you will find us at C-26, Focal Point in the Chanalon district. It is a noisy place, mostly because of the metal hitting metal all day long. The air usually smells like iron and grease, which is just part of the job. We have been working out of this unit for a while, and it has seen a lot of activity. There are scraps of metal lying around the edges of the floor, and the workbenches are pretty worn down. We do not have a big fancy office or anything like that. Instead, there is a small desk in the corner with a lamp that flickers sometimes. Most of the time, we are out on the floor dealing with the raw materials. It is physical work, and your hands usually end up pretty dirty by the end of the shift. Chanalon is a busy area, so there is always a truck idling nearby or someone shouting over the noise of the machines. We keep our tools close by and try to keep a rhythm going. Some days the machines act up, and we have to spend time fixing them instead of producing. That is just how it goes in a shop like this. We don't use big words or have meetings. We just look at what needs to be made and we start on it. It is just the daily grind here.
