Namrata Steel

Namrata Steel is located in the Kalunga Vedvyas area, not too far from the Siddheshwar Mandir. The temple is a big landmark for us, and you can often hear the bells ringing from where we work. We deal with steel, which means our yard is full of heavy rods, sheets, and pipes stacked up. It’s a rough environment and you definitely need to wear thick boots when you walk around. We spend the day cutting metal to size and loading it onto trucks for delivery. The sound of metal clanging against metal is constant here, and it can be quite loud when the saws are running. We don’t have a fancy showroom; people just come here when they need raw materials for building or manufacturing. Our office is just a small room with a desk and a few chairs for when customers need to settle their bills. It’s a family-run kind of place, so you might see different relatives helping out depending on the day. We don't worry about being polished or having a corporate image. We just care about making sure the weights are right and the steel is what the customer asked for. It’s a tough business, but it’s honest work that keeps us busy from sunrise until the gates close in the evening. Most of our regulars are local contractors who have been buying from us for years.
