Shyam Steels

My family has been at Shyam Steels for a while now. We are on the first floor of the Purohit Market Complex. It is right near Mangal Bhavan on the main road. If you know the area, it is pretty easy to find us once you get into the complex itself. I spend most of my day here dealing with the steel inventory. It gets dusty sometimes, but that is just part of the job. Most folks stop by because they are building something nearby and need supplies. We do not have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just the office and the stacks of metal out back. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard for the trucks to turn in, especially around the lunch hour. The stairs to the first floor are a bit steep if you aren't used to them. I usually tell people to watch their step. I have lived in this town my whole life, so I know most of the people who walk through that door. We talk about the weather or how the local market is doing lately. The Purohit Market Complex is an old building, but it works for what we do. I usually have a cup of tea around four and look out at the street. It is a lot of work handling all this weight, but we manage. My brother helps out on the weekends when it gets busy. We try to keep things organized. It is just a regular shop.
