Valley Travellers

Our office is located at 820/17 in Host Mahal, right on the Mahajan Parav approach road in Rohtak. If you are coming from the city center, you’ll see us near the Kath Mandi flyover. It’s a loud area because of the traffic coming off the bridge, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. Valley Travellers is a small operation. We have a couple of desks, some old maps on the wall, and a phone that seems to ring at the most inconvenient times. Mostly, we spend our time looking at computer screens, trying to find the right routes for people who need to get somewhere. There is nothing very flashy about the place; it’s a practical workspace where we handle the day-to-day business of travel. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to tell people to wait a bit while the page loads. We see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood stopping by just to ask a quick question about a bus timing or a train fare. The floor usually has a bit of dust because of the construction nearby, but we sweep it out when we can. It’s just a local spot where we work through the pile of bookings and keep track of who is going where. It’s simple, a bit noisy because of the flyover, but it’s home for us during the day while we deal with tickets.
