Aircon Airways

This is Amit Hooda’s place. We are out in Khidwali, near the big tower in Thoi Pana. My father, Sh Ramphal Hooda, is well known around these parts too. We’ve set up Aircon Airways right here because it’s where we live and work. It’s a bit of a drive from the main Rohtak city center, but folks know where the tower is, so they find us easily enough. The office is pretty simple. We don't have big signs or anything flashy. Mostly, we spend our time on the phone or working on the computer to get things sorted for people. It gets quite hot here in the summer, hence the name, I suppose. There’s always someone stopping by for a tea or to ask about travel and cooling. We have a lot of space out here, so parking isn't an issue like it is in the city. The air is a bit cleaner, though the dust still gets everywhere. We do things at our own pace. If a neighbor needs something, we help them out. It’s not a corporate environment at all. It’s just us doing our jobs near the family home. Sometimes the cows from the nearby farm wander onto the road, and we have to wait. That’s just life in Khidwali. We’ve been here for a long time and plan to stay right here near the tower.
