We started Shakti Tours & Travels because we knew our way around the roads and people always needed a reliable way to get from one place to another. It’s mostly just us and a few cars. We handle local trips, maybe a drive to the airport, or taking a family to a wedding in the next town over. It’s a lot of long hours behind the wheel. We know the shortcuts to avoid the traffic jams and where the best tea stalls are along the highway. Sometimes the car needs a bit of work, or the weather makes driving difficult, but we keep going. It’s a small business, just a few of us making sure people get where they need to go without any fuss. We don’t have brochures or fancy websites. People just call the number when they need a ride. We’ve lived here all our lives, so we know every turn and every bump in the road. It’s honest work. One day we might be driving early in the morning before the sun is up, and the next we’re out late at night. We just take it as it comes and try to stay busy.
